Bad Sector Simulation
不良セクタシミュレーション

This function predicts the condition of each sector about three to six months in the future. However, this feature is specialized for HDDs. For SSD/NVMe, a different approach (statistical scan) is adopted due to the higher complexity of analysis.
各セクタの約3ヵ月後～半年後の状況を予測していく機能です。ただ、本機能はHDD専門機能です。SSD/NVMeでは解析の次元が高く別の手法(統計スキャン)を採用しております。

From the menu, go to “Complete & Detailed Scan Settings,” and select Bad Sector Simulation starting from number 1.
メニュー→「完全・詳細スキャン設定」から以下を開き1番より不良セクタシミュレーションを選択いたします。

Select the drive to be scanned (check the box at the far left)
4番: スキャンされるドライブを選択(左端のボックスにチェック)

Checking multiple drives allows you to inspect them simultaneously.
複数のドライブにチェックを入れますとそれらのドライブを同時に検査できます。

The detailed scan has multiple functions.

Force Termination
1番: 強制終了

It supports resuming.

This function allows you to compare the current and future conditions.
現在と将来を比較することができる機能となっております。

Analysis gauge
4番は解析ゲージ

The gauge rises if there is high continuity, indicating a smaller impact.
連続性が高い場合は影響が小さいため上昇します。

Current sector status
1番: 現在のセクタの状況

This matches the results of the complete scan.
こちらは完全スキャンの結果と一致いたします。

Display bad sectors that will occur in the near future (about three to six months later)
2番: 近い将来に発生する不良セクタ(約3ヵ月後～半年後)を表示

Even if currently normal, if bad signs appear here, we strongly recommend replacement. They are likely to fail soon.
現在は正常でもこちらに不良サインが出た場合は交換を強くお勧めいたします。近い時期に壊れます。
